Overview
Bayan, Qonichi's son, spent his reign fighting a cousin who claimed the left wing with the support of the Ögedeid and Chagatayid khans of Central Asia.

He succeeded his father in 1302.
Rule and Achievements
- Was challenged by his cousin Kobluk, backed by Kaidu and Duwa, and fought them and Kaidu's forces several times
- Asked Toqta, khan of the Golden Horde, for help; Toqta warned Kaidu not to support the rebels
Legacy
He died in 1309 and was succeeded by Sasibuqa.
