Overview
Laihur was Zasagt Khan of the Khalkha from ? to 1596. He is the first of the western Khalkha rulers to be called khan, and his dates are uncertain.
Rise to Power
Laihur, of the line of Gersenji's eldest son Ashikhai, received the khan title, according to later accounts from Abtai Sain Khan.

Legacy
Accounts differ on his death: one places his killing in 1587, while the usual list ends his reign in 1596. His son Subadai took the title Zasagt Khan.
