Overview

Tserendorj was Tüsheet Khan of the Khalkha from 1832 to 1863. The record of his reign is thin: the sources give little more than his place in the succession.

Rise to Power

He succeeded Erentei in 1832.

Rule and Achievements

  • Held the hereditary title, confirmed by the Qing emperor, and ruled his own banner as its jasagh, the ruling prince
  • Ruled as Chinese merchant firms expanded in Khüree and the Khalkha nobility fell into debt to them

Legacy

He was succeeded by Nasantsogt in 1863.
