Overview
Buluzhen was a nephew of Hulü Qaghan who seized power from him in 414. His reign lasted only a few months before Datan, a cousin of Shelun, killed him and took the throne.

The record of his reign is thin; the Book of Wei gives only his usurpation and death.
Legacy
Datan's victory began one of the longest and most warlike reigns in Rouran history.
