Overview
Yishibo, leader of the Xueyantuo, was made lesser qaghan of the Tiele in 605, under the Qibi qaghan Geleng. The Chinese sources call him Yiedie (Yedie) Qaghan.
Rise to Power
He was raised with Geleng when the Tiele broke from the Western Türks.
Rule and Achievements
- Ruled the Xueyantuo as lesser qaghan of the Tiele qaghanate
- Shared control of the Turfan route with the Qibi
Legacy
Around 610 he gave up the title and rejoined the Western Türks. In 629 a later Xueyantuo leader, Yinan, revived the qaghanate on a much larger scale.
